Defence Attaché met Czech World War II veteran Colonel Zbyšek Nečas-Pemberton

On 9 November 2016, the Czech Defence Attaché Colonel Jiří Svatoš visited a former member of the RAF 68th night fighter sqn. Colonel Zbyšek Nečas-Pemberton.

Col. Nečas-Pemberton served as a radar operator on Beaufighter and Mosquito night fighters during the Second World War and his bravery also contributed to  the fact, that the Czechoslovak night fighters within the 68th Night Fighter Squadron finished the war with twenty-one verified kills, three probable, and additionally, they damaged seven enemy planes. They also shot down three V-1 flying bombs.

Both Air force Colonels enjoyed their talk about flying during the visit.
