Direct flights to Czechia enabled again

With effect as of 23rd December 2020 until further notice, the return by air of below specified categories of persons from the territory of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is enabled. 

Prior to boarding, the passengers are obliged to provide the carrier with a negative result of an antigen detection test or RT-PCR test for the presence of SARS CoV-2 which has been performed in the territory of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland no later than 72 hours before the departure. 

The return is allowed to:

a)  citizens of the Czech Republic with their common place of residence in the territory of the Czech Republic or their family members who accompany them, 
b)  EU citizens with a certificate of temporary residence in the territory of the Czech Republic or with a permanent residence permit for residence in the territory of the Czech Republic or their family members who accompany them, 
c)  holders of a valid long-term visa, a long-term or permanent residence permit card for residence in the territory of the Czech Republic, issued by the Czech Republic,
d)  other foreign nationals who only transit by air across the territory of the Czech Republic or who change flights at the same airport for up to 12 hours after their arrival.

The measure does not apply to persons who only transit by air across the territory of United Kingdom. However, all persons have to meet the conditions for entry into the territory of the Czech Republic according to the Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health.
