Almost a billion crowns have already been donated by private donors to dedicated account of the Ukrainian Embassy in Prague, which uses the collected money for purchases of military material. Already 115,000 donors contributed to the collection, sending 977 million Czech crowns, eg 34 million GBP.
Czech Ministry of Defense assists the Ukrainian Embassy in purchasing and transporting equipment. For the money raised, experts from the Ministry are looking for the technology that Ukraine requires. Purchases take place primarily from Czech manufacturers, but also from arms warehouses around the world.
Ukraine's armed forces and militia now urgently need military material to defend their homes, their own country and national sovereignty. The Embassy and the Office of the Defense Attaché of Ukraine in Prague have a list of specific requirements of the Ukrainian army, which can be obtained immediately from Czech companies. This collection will allow all friends and supporters of Ukraine to help stop Russian aggression.
How can I help?
The Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic provides a bank account (304452700/0300) to which a financial amount intended for the subsequent purchase of defense and military equipment can be sent. The donors will therefore send a financial gift directly to the Ukrainian Embassy in the Czech Republic.
The Embassy of Ukraine will select defense material in cooperation with defense experts, representatives of the Defense Section of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Association of the Defense and Security Industry of the Czech Republic.
In coordination with state authorities, the Chamber, the Association, and the Ukrainian Embassy, necessary administrative process and subsequent delivery logistics will be provided.
