Europe Day 2018

On 9 May 2018, the representative of the Czech Embassy in London, Mr. Karel Bartošík, together with representatives of 19 other EU member states, representatives of the European Commission and the European Parliament, attended celebrations of Europe Day in Glasgow, Scotland.
During the event, the Czech Republic was presented as an interesting country in terms of tourism, culture, education and business and investment cooperation, by its own stand located in the historical center of the city. The celebrations were opened by Mrs. Fiona Hyslop, Minister of Culture, Tourism and External Relations of the Scottish Government.
Mr. Bartošík was pleased to see a considerable interest of visitors at the stand with materials about the Czech Republic. He was answering their questions throughout the whole day.
