Jan Palach commemoration

On 19 January 2018, Deputy Ambassador Jan Brunner took part in a remembrance service to commemorate the sacrifice of Jan Palach at the anniversary of his death, organised and hosted by Velehrad London at the Palach memorial. The service was followed by a lively discussion by witnesses of the events in 1968 and 1969, both from the United Kingdom and what was then Czechoslovakia.
