Opening Ceremony of the International Bomber Command Centre

On 12 April 2018, Defence Attaché of the Czech Republic, Colonel Jiří Niedoba, paid tribute at the International Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln during its official opening ceremony.

The IBCC was set up with the aim of recognition, remembrance and reconciliation and honours all those who served or supported the Bomber Command in the Second World War. The Spire and memorial walls remembers almost 58 000 names of those who gave their lifes during service with the Bomber Command. The No 311 (Czechoslovak) squadron was part of the Bomber Command during World War II.
