Reception on the Czech Day of the Armed Forces

On 10th June 2019, Ambassador Libor Sečka, together with Defence Attaché Colonel Jiří Niedoba, held a reception on the Day of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, which is celebrated in remembrance of the oath of Czechoslovak soldiers in Darnsey on 30th June 1918.
The reception at the Czech Embassy was attended by members of the military diplomatic corps in the United Kingdom, representatives of the British Ministry of Defence, local Councillors, descendants and relatives of the Czechoslovak war veterans and members of Czech associations.
The “Wings in Exile” exhibition provided by the Club of military history 276th Sqdn. (reenacted) RAF was a success indeed.
