Karel Schwarzenberg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic has been deeply moved by the report of a death of Jan Winkler, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. He has sent a letter of condolences to Jan Winkler´s family to express his deepest sympathy on behalf of himself and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

The Czech Republic has lost one of the most remarkable and respected diplomats. He will be remembered for his great sense of the foreign policy and his outstanding knowledge of the international relations.
