Update: end of the emergency state of the consular section

We would like to inform our visitors that the emergency state of the consular section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London will end on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. From this date onwards all bookings of previously agreed meetings will be valid.

However, the operation of the consular section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London remains in a limited regime. A personal visit is only possible if the hygiene measures are followed (see below) and by prior arrangement by e-mail. In case of extraordinary and emergency cases, it is of course possible to contact the consulate directly at any time and by phone.

You can contact the consulate at the e-mail address consulate.london@embassy.mzv.cz (please provide a telephone number in the e-mail) or by phone during working hours (9 – 12am) at +44 (0) 207 243 7931. Outside of the working hours, you can reach an emergency telephone line +44 (0) 7769 682 442 (please note that this line is not used for arranging meetings or providing information regarding already booked consular meetings).

Operation and booking a personal visit to the consular section

The date of the visit must be requested by email. The visit cannot be carried out without prior booking and subsequent confirmation by a consular employee.

In your e-mail, always state your telephone number, name, surname, date of birth, or the date of validity of the Czech document (passport or identity card) and a brief description of the matter you want to handle.

Cancellation of the date must also be announced by email or telephone. Only such an announcement can be combined with a request for a new meeting. We ask for consideration to other clients who can use the vacated date/time. Telephone consultations with clients serve mainly to specify specific documents individually needed for the subsequent visit.

Please arrive at the meeting in time to be able to comply with all hygiene rules. Later arrivals can cause the meeting to be postponed significantly. To visit, please bring the pre-filled relevant forms that you will need according to the purpose of the visit to the office. Filling in the forms on the premises of the Office will disrupt the operation of the agreed meetings and hygienic measures.
