War veteran Col. Arnošt Polák celebrated his 93rd birthday

On 21st September 2016 Colonel Arnošt Polák Ret., a former member of 311th Bomber Squadron, Royal Air Force, celebrated his 93rd birthday. During the Second World War he served as a flight radio operator and gunner.

The Czech Defence Attaché of the Czech Embassy in London, Colonel Jiří Svatoš, congratulated him personally on behalf of the Czech Republic on the occasion of his birthday and wished him all the best and good health for the coming years.
