Concert featuring work of Vítězslava Kaprálová

Beach Cities Symphony presents the groundbreaking 1935 work by Vítězslava Kaprálová (1915–1940), the first Czech female composer and conductor. This free concert is taking place on Friday, March 31, at 8:00pm in Marsee Auditorium, El Camino College ( 16007 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance, CA 90506) and will feature Kaprálová's Piano Concerto in D minor, written by Kaprálová when she was only twenty years old.

It is our honor to bring to your attention a rare performance of Vítězslava Kaprálová's Piano Concerto in D Minor.
