The Anarchic Cinema of Věra Chytilová

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic highly recommends the retrospective screening of Věra Chytilová films "The Anarchic Cinema of Věra Chytilová" on Thursday, June 27, Friday, June 28 and Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Egyptian Theater. The series includes one of the New Wave's most anarchic films, DAISIES, that is also considered a touchstone of feminist film and is by far the most dazzlingly experimental film of this period.
