Czech That Film festival online

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles is delighted to invite you to the launch of the Stay Home Edition of the Czech That Film festival, starting on Monday, April 27, 2020, and running until June 7, 2020.
Due to the Covid -19 pandemic, the 9th edition of the Czech That Film festival will be taking place on-line! Each week we will make one film from our program's selection available at the official festival website at: www.czechthatfilm.com
The online festival will highlight six top Czech films and opens with Old-Timers (Staříci), winner of the 2019 Czech Film Critics' Awards for Best Film, Best Actor (Jiří Schmitzer), and Best Director. The film centers on two former political prisoners seeking revenge for injustices done to them during the 1950s, based on true events.

April 27-May 3: Old-Timers (Staříci)
May 4-10: Karel, Me and You (Karel, já a ty)
May 11-17: The Cage (Klec)
May 18-24: On the Roof (Na střeše)
May 25-31: Overfingers (Přes prsty)
June 1-7: The Play (Hra)
