A Czech game nominated for the “Gaming Oscar” in Two Categories.

The game Afterglicht, developed by Czech researcher Vladimír Kudelka from Hangonit Studio, is currently competing in one of the most prestigious competitions of the gaming industry, 2023 Independent Games Festival Awards. The Sci-fi video game is nominated in two categories - Excellence in Visual Art and Nuovo Award. The awards will be announced on March 22 in San Francisco.




 

Afterglitch is an experimental third-person exploration video game inspired by utopian science fiction illustrations of the second half of the 20th century and hyperspace in modern art. The player is an astronaut whose multidimensional journey to find an extraterrestrial civilization is more important than the destination.
