Delegation of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic visited Zambia

The delegation of Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic led by the First Vice-President of the Senate, Mrs. Miluše Horská, visited the Republic of Zambia from December 3, 2017 until December 9, 2017. The delegation was composed by the senators, members of the Committee on Public Administration, Regional Development and the Environment, Chairmen of the Committee Sen. Mr. Zbyněk Linhart, Sen. Mrs. Jitka Seitlová, Sen. Mr. Jan Látka a Sen. Mr. Jiří Carbol.
Senators met the Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia Hon. Mr. Patrick Matibini, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Mr. Harry Kalaba, Minister of Tourism and Arts Hon. Mr. Charles Banda and the Director of Nationals Parks. Members of the Delegation visited the development projects that are maintained by the Czech NGOs in Zambia. At the Embassy of the Czech Republic, Senators met with the Czech citizens living in Zambia and Zambians who studied in the Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia).
