Invitation to participate in the 49th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Art Lidice 2021

(This article expired 01.09.2021.)

Calling on all nursery schools, primary schools, primary art schools, special schools, leisure-time centers of children and youth, children’s houses, multi-year grammar schools and other secondary schools, and individuals! We invite you to participate in the 49th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Art Lidice 2021.

The exhibition was established in 1967 to commemorate the child victims from the Czech village of Lidice murdered by Nazis, as well as all other children who have died in wars. In 2020, more than twenty two thousand art works from 78 countries were submitted.

In 2021, the theme is robots and artificial intelligence in order to commemorate the hundred years anniversary since the Czech writer Karel Čapek used the word 'robot' for the first time ever and the word became gradually known all over the world.

The deadline for registration and sending the artworks is 19 February 2021. You can find all necessary information and also browse the submissions from previous years at the website of the exhibition

We would also like to use this opportunity to congratulate Ms. Chibisa Tawana, 11-year old pupil of the Lusitania Primary School in Harare who received a honourable mention for her submission in the last year's edition of the exhibition. Well done!
