A number of large and small events took place in the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. For example, a Czech quiz was held at the Czech Community Centre in Manchester. A celebration of compatriots, mainly gathered around a Czech school, was held at the Czech Honorary Consulate in Edinburgh. Even Consul General Ivo Losman and his family were present at the celebration.
