Sheffield University launches an extensive linguistic project

Language scientists from seven countries will ponder the sentence composition under the leadership of Professor Neil Bermel of the University of Sheffield.

"A Feast and the Famine of Grammatical Forms" is an extensive project, as part of which language scientists from Great Britain, Croatia and the Czech Republic will collect data on the subconscious word choice of the speakers of Central and Eastern European languages. The Institute of the Czech National Corpus of the Faculty of Arts at Charles University and the Institute of the Czech Language of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic are involved in the project lead by professor Neil Bermel, the head of Russian and Slovak Studies at Sheffield University.
