It is the third volume of joint European project spearheaded by EUNIC Manila and with support of Embassies of Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, the Netherlands and Poland, Philippine-Italian Association, British Council, Alliance Française and Instituto Cervantes and Honorary Consulates of Finland, Portugal and Slovenia.

Selection of genre stories from 15 European countries titled "Haka" was selected by Julie Nováková and former Czech Ambassador Jaroslav Olsa Jr. and published by Anvil Publishing.

The foreword has provided Czech speculative writer Julie Nováková. Czech speculative stories are represented by a piece by Hanuš Seiner – Hexagrammaton.
