Ateneo de Manila ties with Czech universities

A top Philippine university Ateneo de Manila is to receive the first group of Czech students from University of Tomáš Baťa, Zlín, and Metropolitan University, Prague, and exchange professors with Charles University Prague.

As Ateneo de Manila is on the new list of TOP 100 universities in Asia we are happy that its cooperation with the Czech counterparts has been growing every year now. Soon there will be two more Czech boxes besides the three seen above at Glenn de Leon's, its foreign department director's side. Our top Charles University (est. 1348) signed an agreement with Ateneo de Manila in April and one more agreement will be ready shortly. And, one of Ateneo de Manila faculty member is now finishing his further studies in Prague, hopefully enriching Ateneo European Studies Program soon.

More thorough discussions were held during the working visit of Czech Ambassador Jaroslav Olša, jr. to Ateneo de Manila, and we hope, there will be more cooperation coming soon.
