Authentication (Copy Verification, Translation Verification, Signature Verification)

The Czech Embassy Manila is authorized to offer the following authentication services:

  • Copy Verification
  • Translation Verification
  • Signature Verification

Documents are authenticated every Thursday at the Embassy from 9am to 12nn. No appointment necessary, applicants are accepted on first come first served basis. Documents are authenticated right away. Each verification process has a corresponding fee to be paid in Philippine peso at the time of application for authentication at the Czech Embassy Manila. The fee in Philippine pesos varies monthly depending on the current exchange rate.

Copy Verification

The request for copy verification has no special form. Personal appearance of the document owner is not required. It is only necessary to present the original document and its copy which is to be verified.

The verification process is dealt with in the soonest possible time.

If the document to be verified is to be used in a country other than the Czech Republic, the applicant may request for an English version of the verification stamp.

The Czech Embassy is not permitted to verify copies of the following: Identification cards, military identification cards, bank passbooks, cheques, lotto tickets and technical blueprints.

Translation Verification

The Czech Embassy Manila can verify translations of documents from English to Czech and from Czech to English.

The request for translation verification has no special form. Personal appearance of the document owner is not required.  It is only necessary to present the original document and its translation which is to be verified. In exceptional cases, the Czech Embassy Manila may translate documents either from English to Czech or Czech to English.

The verification process is dealt with in the soonest possible time.

If the document to be verified is to be used in a country other than the Czech Republic, the applicant may request for an English version of the verification stamp.

Signature Verification

Personal appearance of the requesting party is required for signature verification. A valid identification card or passport of the person concerned must be presented as well.

The request for signature verification has no special form. Signature verification is generally dealt with on the same day the verification is requested.
