Announcement regarding the topic of issuing of the apostille by the Department of Foreign Affairs of Philippines

Announcement regarding the topic of issuing of the apostille by the Department of Foreign Affairs of Philippines especially related to the agenda of the Employee cards.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Manila wants to draw the attention to the fact that there is currently rather long waiting period to arrange the apostille on the Philippine public documents (like NBI) due to high demand. This announcement especially concerns the applicants for the Czech Employee cards who are obliged to submit the Philippine NBI with the apostille and official translation into the Czech language when submitting their application.

To have an apostille arranged at the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs it is necessary to make an on-line appointment. The Embassy draws the attention to the fact that there are long waiting periods to have this arranged. The situation may change but it is necessary to take into account that the dates to have apostille arranged may not be available for weeks or even months.

That is why the Embassy recommends to schedule the appointment to have the apostille arranged at the Department of Foreign Affairs immediately when the NBI is issued.
