Applications for the Employment Cards in the Framework of the Programme Qualified Employee

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Manila informs that starting March 1st 2021 the applications for so called Employment Cards in the Framework of the Programme Qualified Employee should be submitted through the visa outsourcing company VFS Global located at 1st Floor, Ecoplaza Bldg., 2305 Chino Roces Ave Ext., 1231 Makati, Metro Manila.

All applicants shall submit their application for Employment Card at the above mentioned premises.

All applicants are expected to come prepared with the application form duly filled out, with all the necessary attachments. It is crucial to have the application completely filled out prior to the scheduled appointment, as it will not be possible to accomplish this on the spot due to time constraints. Kindly ensure all fields are accomplished, especially the following: (1) information of the email and phone number of the applicant (page 1, point B), (2) information on education and occupation (page 2, point B), (3) address for postal delivery (page 2, point F), (4) the purpose and place of stay (point H, page 3), and the place, date and signature on page 5. It is important to fill the dates in the DD-MM-YYYY format.

Due to technical reasons, it will not be possible to verify the translation of the NBI clearance at the VFS premises. All applicants are expected to bring their NBI clearance with apostille and verified translation into Czech language during their scheduled appointment. They must arrange the translation verification of the NBI in advance at the Embassy. Should the applicants not present their NBI with the apostille and verified translation, they will be issued a letter stating that they need to provide this document at the Embassy. Otherwise the application will not be processed.

In general, if any required document is missing upon submission of the Employment Card application, the applicant will also receive above mentioned letter stating they have to provide the particular document at the Embassy.

Due to technical reasons, the visa application number (for example QMAB 2021 03 23 0001) will not be known during the submission of the application. The Embassy will provide this information at a later stage. The applicant has to ask for this information via email - manila@embassy.mzv.cz.

An Embassy representative shall always be present at VFS Global to facilitate the processing of the applications. They will be issuing above mentioned letters, should this be needed, and the “Confirmation of submission of an application for long-term residence for the purpose of employment in the territory of the Czech Republic (“Employee Card”)”.

Further, apart from standard visa fee, a technical fee of the 20,- EUR will be collected by VFS Global.

All visas will be issued and released at the Embassy.
