Partial Resumption of Visa Agenda

The Czech Embassy in Manila will resume partial operations starting September 21, 2020. Visa services resumption is taking place as the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic continues. Czech Embassy requests applicants´cooperation in observing hygienic rules when visiting the Embassy.
The Czech Embassy in Manila will resume partial operations starting September 21, 2020.
Visa services resumption is taking place as the world wide COVID-19 pandemic continues.
We therefore ask for applicants´ cooperation in observing hygienic rules when visiting the Embassy.
Applicants will be required to use hands´ disinfection, wear face masks and maintain at least 2 meters distance.
The number of persons who can simultaneously enter the Embassy premises will be limited.
We also ask for applicants´understanding that the amount of applications that the Embassy can accept and process while observing the preventive hygienic measures cannot approximate the amount of applications accepted and processed before the state of emergency.
Only operations for the concerns listed below will resume and the following schedule shall be observed:

Letter and passport pick up only
Applicants who have been informed through email that they have received a letter from the Ministry of Interior
Applicants whose passports are still at the Embassy and would like to retrieve it
Agency representative may appear provided they have an original authorization letter from the applicant (appointment must be set in applicants' name)
Long Term Visa pick up only
Applicants who have been informed of the positive decision from the Ministry of Interior and will have the visa stamped on their passport
Applicants must bring the following:
- Valid Passport (at least 3 months validity)
- Valid Travel Insurance

Applicants who have been issued a visa but were not able to leave due to the pandemic
Applicants must bring the following:
- Valid Passport
- New Application Form, filled out completely
- 1pc Passport Size Photo
- Photocopy of Valid Contract

Student Visa application
Those applying for Student Visa, with complete documents:
- Valid Passport
- Application Form
- 2pcs Passport Size Photo
- Original Acceptance Letter from School/University in Czech language
- Original Accommodation Confirmation in Czech language
- Bank Certificate and 3-month Bank Statement (no need for Czech translation)
- Apostilled Philippine NBI (issued within the last 6 months) with Czech translation
- Visa Fee
Short-term Schengen visas only for the following particular purposes:
- international transport workers
- diplomats and officials of international organizations
- seasonal employment
- for employment (C / 27) in health and social services
- for the purpose of employment (C / 27) in the case of food workers (highly qualified workers)
Applicants for a visa for the purpose of seasonal employment must have a work permit pursuant to Section 96 of the Employment Act (https://www.zakonyprolidi.cz/cs/2004-435#cast4).
Seasonal employment means employment in the sector depending on the season, which is not functional for more than 6 months.
Specifically, these are the following industries according to CZ-NACE:
- 01 - crop and animal production, hunting and related activities,
- 02 - forestry and logging,
- 55 - accommodation,
- 56 - catering and hospitality a
- 93 - Sports, entertainment and recreation activities

New Employee Card Applications
Appointments will be set by the Embassy, we will directly send the scheduled date to the applicant. Applicants do not need to set an appointment manually.The Embassy will chronologically process visa application which are part of the government program including these which were affected by the state of emergency (Program for the Qualified Workers , Program for the Highly Qualified Workers and the Program for the Key and Research Staff).
Short Term Schengen Visa applications are still suspended until further notice. We will release an advisory once operations resume.
APPOINTMENT SYSTEM
The Embassy will be accepting first visa applicants who made the appointment from August 10,2020 and their appointment was cancelled due to closure of the visa section.
New appointments will be opened on September 30, 2020 through the following link:

Kindly set your appointment properly, with correct details, and only on the day that your concern will be entertained.
After you submit the form, kindly wait for an email confirming the date and time of your appointment. If you do not receive an email within 24 hours (Mon-Fri), you may send us an email at czembmnl.visa@gmail.com.

Reminders for your appointment at the Embassy
- If you are not feeling well, or have any symptoms, please do not proceed with your appointment and inform us through email: czembmnl.visa@gmail.com or call: 8811-1155 loc. 13. The Embassy has the right to refuse entry to anyone exhibiting alarming health conditions.
- Prepare all documents at home – accomplish all forms that need to be filled out. You will not be given time to accomplish this while inside the Embassy. If documents are incomplete, you will not be allowed to enter the Embassy.
- Documents should not be placed in any form of plastic folder/envelope/sleeve.
- Bring your own ballpen/s, sanitizers and please wear a face mask at all times.
- Arrive only 15 mins before your scheduled time and sign the Embassy logbook upon arrival. If your name is not on the list, you will not be allowed to enter.
- Kindly wait at the building lobby for an Embassy representative to escort you up when it is time for your appointment.
- Sanitize upon entry and exit of the Embassy premises.
- If you are found to be positive for COVID-19 within 14 days after your appointment, kindly inform the Embassy right away.
