About us

The Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations at Geneva is one the diplomatic representations of the Czech Republic abroad.

Its principal task is to contribute to attainment of objectives and targets of the Czech Republic's foreign policy (PDF, 273 KB)in conjunction with work of the intergovernmental organizations and multilateral processes based in Geneva.

Diplomats present positions of the Czech Republic, promote its interests and contribute to finding solutions for challenges oftoday's world. The diplomatic staff performs duties in close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other bodies of the administration. Portfolio of their work covers a broad range of activities.

Bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Switzerland, including visa and other consular-related affairs, belong within the competence of the Czech Embassy in Bern.


Personal data processing and protection at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic (MFA) processes and protects personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The MFA’s responsibilities in this area are set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Personal Data Protection Act.
