
Czech Republic elected to the IAEA Board of Governors after 10 years

The Czech Republic was on 23 September 2021 at General Conference successfully elected to the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for the term 2021 - 2023. It was 10 years ago when the Czech Republic served on the Board last time. Three candidates from the Eastern European regional group - Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia - ran for the two seats, the second elected was Slovenia.
