Ambassador Šrámek presented priorities of the Czech Chairmanship in the Human Dimension Committee at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s Meeting

Almost 300 parliamentarians gathered in Vienna for the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s 19th Winter Meeting. For two days, 20th  to 21st  February 2020, they discussed the topics of human rights, freedom of media and conflict settlements in the OSCE region. The Czech delegation was led by Karla Maříková, member of the Chamber of Deputies.

Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the OSCE Ambassador Ivo Šrámek addressed the Assembly’s human rights committee and presented the priorities of the Czech Chairmanship in the OSCE Human Dimension Committee in 2020. As a main priority of the Committee Ambassador Šrámek mentioned human rights and fundamental freedoms in the whole OSCE region, including civil and political rights, and tolerance and non-discrimination.
