Ambassador Ivo Šrámek assumed chairmanship of the CTBTO Preparatory Commission

Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic Ambassador Ivo Šrámek chaired the 55th resumed session of the Preparatory Commission of the CTBTO. The first session this year was held on 27 January 2021 in a virtual format. Ambassador Šrámek, as a newly elected Chair, will preside all sessions of the Preparatory Commission through the year 2021.
Resumed 55th session approved the recommendations of the Executive Secretary on the appointments of three new directors of the Provisional Technical Secretariat. We warmly congratulate them on their appointments and wish them success in their new endeavors!
