Quotas for Economic Migration

On August 26, 2019, the Czech Government approved a resolution setting a maximum annual number of applications for the Employee Cards and long-term visas for the purpose of entrepreneurship which can be accepted by Czech Embassies and Consulates. Quotas apply only at the Embassies and Consulates stated therein.

Quotas are established by the resolution of the Government based on the agreement of the concerned ministries and The Council of Economic and Social Agreement of the Czech Republic. The quotas take effect on September 1, 2019.

The Czech Embassy in Nairobi will accept the maximum number of applications based on the total quotas on a monthly basis. Guidelines for appointment scheduling are published on the Embassy website.
