Both representatives focused their exchange of views on the continued Russian military aggression against Ukraine, the support of the Alliance to Ukraine and its rapprochement with NATO. They also discussed the strengthening of Allied defence, including the issue of defence expenditures and their increase, and the preparations of the approaching NATO Summit in Vilnius. Minister Lipavský also proposed the Czech Republic as host nation for an informal Foreign Ministerial Meeting in the next year.
