The 15th edition of the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) will be held from January 12th to 19th, 2017 in Pune, India. The festival is being jointly organized by the Pune Film Foundation and the Government of Maharashtra.

For the 15th edition of the festival, PIFF present retrospectives of renowned filmmakers, award-winning films, classics as well as contemporary cinema from Czech Republic in the non-competitive sections of PIFF, with the authorization for three screenings of each film, two screenings for Pune and including one screening each in our extended satellite festivals held in Mumbai or Aurangabad. The extended festivals will be held soon after Pune.

The main sections of the PIFF program are the International World competition, Marathi competition, Student competition, Global cinema (non-competition section), Country focus, Retrospective, Tribute section, Indian Cinema and Regional cinema. Apart from this, it hold numerous theme-based exhibitions, seminars, lectures, workshops and media interactions as part of the festival highly equipped multiplexes with the latest technology for film screenings.
