Small Local Project in Bangladesh for 2018

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic approved one small local development project in Bangladesh for 2018. The project called "Improving Position of Women in the Society through Empowerment " will be realized by PROVA SOCIETY. The project is supported by 399,743.00 CZK.

The aim of the project is to improve the position of women both in the family and in society through developing skills and small business activities for up to 600 women. The project is focused on the organizing of sewing courses, providing capital for the purchase of small domestic animals for farming, and holding meetings aimed at educating women about their rights in society.
