Zasedání Mumbai

In Delhi, the delegation assessed the possibility of joint financing of the Czech-Indian economic projects.

On this occasion the Czech Ambassador Milan Hovorka expressed his happiness that the Czech companies had a professional approach, expressed their inventiveness and creativity in finding new projects. He assured them that they can fully rely on the work of the Czech Embassy in Delhi. Ambassador appreciated that apart from the state of Maharashtra, in which the Czech companies are already well settled, the companies are looking for new markets in other Indian states. He believes that this is the way how to do more business in India. And the state of Jharkhand is for the Czech companies very interesting. Today, in principle, India is showing the competitive federalism, in which individual states are more than ever before interested in a business facilitation, implementation of new projects and foreign direct investment inflows. In Jharkand the Czech Republic has something on which it may build on and, secondly, this State has recently made considerable progress in use of its economic potential, as documented by the latest World Bank Report evaluating the business environment in different states of India, according to which Jharkhand has been shifted from one of the last to one of the foremost positions.
