Ambassador Eliška Žigová presented the Letters of Credence to President of Maldives

Eliska Zigova, non-resident Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Maldives, presented the Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Maldives H. E. Ibrahim Mohamed Solih at the Presidential Palace in Malé. As the newly appointed non-resident Ambassador to the Maldives, H. E. Eliska Zigova is enthusiastic to continue building the strong bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Maldives and further pave the way for future opportunities and shared success in business, environment protection and enhancing people-to-people contacts.
H. E. Eliška Žigová concluded her first official visit to the Republic of Maldives on Tuesday May 23, 2023. The Ambassador of the Czech Republic discussed opportunities in mutual relations with Maldivian representatives including the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, Maldives, Ministry of Economic Development and Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Maldives.
H. E. Eliška Žigová together with her team at Czech Embassy in New Delhi and the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Maldives Mr. Madeeh Jamal will focus on concrete projects in business, tourism, waste management or protection of environment and biodiversity of Maldives to boost bilateral ties between Czech Republic and Maldives.
