New Special Envoy of the Czech Republic for the Indo-Pacific

Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Jakub Kulhanek has appointed a very experienced Czech career diplomat Ambassador Libor Secka, as Special Envoy of the Czech Republic for the Indo-Pacific.
 

In the past, Ambassador Libor Secka served in various diplomatic missions of the Czech Republic in Europe, Asia and America, most recently as the Czech Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

 

His new tasks is to prepare different analyzes or other materials related to Indo-Pacific issues, to cooperate on preparation of the strategies of Czechia, EU, NATO or other international organizations towards the Indo-Pacific, to participate in the development of relevant concepts, to represent the Czech Republic at various meetings, conferences and similar events related to Indo-Pacific region, to establish relations with his counterparts in different countries and international organizations and to collect and evaluate information and propose ideas or recommendations for the Czech Republic's involvement in international cooperation in the field of Indo-Pacific. He shall also promote the awareness of both the Czech public and international partners about the Czech Republic's activities and involvement in the Indo-Pacific region.


Ambassador Libor Secka speaks Czech, English, Spanish, Italian, Russian and French.
