Call for Czech - Indian scientific teams and institutions!

Does your scientific institution or organization have any partners in the Czech Republic? See the EU-India Research & Innovation Cooperation Horizon Europe 2023 – Funding Opportunities for India. Take advantage of the opportunity to get involved in the next Horizon Europe 2023 proposals: Join EU-India Horizon Europe Brokerage Events.

These events are co-organised by the Delegation of the European Union to India and EURAXESS India in association with the Department of Science & Technology (DST)Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES)Government of India (GoI).

The Horizon Europe Info Days 2023– Funding Opportunities for India is a unique occasion to learn more about the advantages that India-based researchers and innovators can take while applying to the Horizon Europe Calls. Speakers from the European Commission will go into depth on the call topics, and Indian Government officials will present modalities of co-funding.

The Government of India will co-fund the successful Indian entities in 11 calls under Horizon Europe, of which 6 calls are open for submission of proposals. For more information, click here.

The government of India has earmarked Horizon Europe calls (2023-2024), and these are open for submission in the areas of:
•    Health - Pandemic preparedness (DBT)
•    Healthy and environment friendly agri-food - new genomic techniques (DBT)
•    AI, Data and Robotics - Efficient trustworthy AI (DST)
•    Batteries - electric energy storage solutions for grid support and charging infrastructure (DST)
•    Transport - zero emission vehicles (DST)
•    Ocean - climate – biodiversity Essential Ocean Variables (EOVs) (MoES)

We cordially invite you to participate in information and brokerage events co-organised by the Delegation of the European Union to India and EURAXESS India in association with Government of India (Department of Science & Technology (DST), Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES)) from 2 to 21 February 2023.

In order to encourage India’s participation in these calls, five virtual brokerage events are scheduled. The objective of these events are i) first-hand information on call scope & impact and modalities of cofunding by experts ii) to provide a platform to meet potential partners from Europe and India and start building your consortium (flash presentations).
