Exhibition and conference dedicated to art, craft, architecture and interior design took place from September 14th to 15th, 2019. The event was organized by Times of India publishing house. Czech design was presented, in particular, by a collection of Bohemia Crystal Glass displayed in a large exhibition space of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi.

“Festival of Arts, Craft, Architecture and Design Etymologies” organized by Times of India Design Xtraordinairé (or “DX”) brought leading interior design suppliers including luxury international brands of glass goods to New Delhi.

Dominant exposition of the Czech exhibition space consisted of decorative items made of Bohemia crystal glass. Many dealers of home accessories, home designers and interior-design consultants visited the Czech exhibition.

Right next to the Bohemia crystal a new JAWA motorcycle was displayed. The new JAWA is manufactured in India by Classic Legends company under a license agreement with the Czech JAWA Moto company. The motorcycle, which is being successfully sold in India, is inspired by Czechoslovak 50s and 60s design of JAWA 350 type 354. In India, the JAWA brand is strongly related to a high quality of the Czechoslovak a Czech engineering production.

Contemporary Czech fashion design was showcased through traditional Indian Saree dress in Czech national colors which was created by the Czech designer Jana Berg for the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi.

Last but not least the Czech traditional and modern architecture was presented by a large-format banner, brochures of Prague City Tourism and CzechTourism agency as well as by a screening of short promotional movies supporting Czech travel industry. VIP guests were invited to taste traditional Czech cuisine.
