Czech Tour Operators pariticipated in record-breaking SATTE 2018 Travel Show

The Czech Republic was again represented at the SATTE Travel Show which was held in Delhi from 31. January – 2. February 2018 and celebrated the 25th anniversary this year. Several Czech companies attended the Expo for which the Czech Tourism Authority - CzechTourism secured the well designed exhibition pavilion and in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Delhi organized a seminar presenting the Czech Republic as a "Land of stories". Ambassador Milan Hovorka, who inaugurated the SATTE 2018, attended the whole program.
 

The 25th edition of the largest tourism fair in South Asia was held at the Pragati Maidan exhibition center in Delhi, and the Czech Republic, as every year, was well represented. The fair was attended by companies such as Asiana (Europea), ESTEC, Eastern Europe Tour and Vizit Europe under the organizational leadership of CzechTourism. They introduced themselves on a well-designed stand, where a large number of travel agencies and other business entities found their way through the fair.
Ambassador Milan Hovorka attended the fair as a guest of honor and, together with other prominent representatives, opened the fair by cutting the ribbon. During the ceremonial walkthrough in the exhibition halls the group also visited the exposition of the Czech Republic. Later, a seminar for the promotion of the Czech Republic was held in the conference hall, which aimed to attract visitors to the tourist attractions of the Czech Republic. Ambassador Milan Hovorka adressed the audience during the seminar, at which the Czech business representatives had also the opportunity to introduce their companies

In the evening the Embassy of the Czech Republic co-organized at their premises a social event - a cocktail, where many local business entities from the sector of ​​outgoing tourism - more than 130 - came to interact with Czech participants.


The remaining day was marked by a presentation at the fair and a large number of B2B meetings. The trade fair once again enjoyed great interest from tourism professionals and their participation in SATTE 2018 showed a growth of 50% compared to last year's , already record breaking, year. In one place, there were over 20,000 professionals and entrepreneurs and 750 foreign delegates from 35 countries, who did not miss the chance to reach out to the massively growing tourism market in India.
