Partial Resumption of Visa Agenda at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi


 

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi in compliance with current Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic is entitled to accept  following visa/residence permits applications:

Schengen visas

● family members of EU / CZ citizens

● unmarried partners of EU / CZ citizens

● in the interest of the Czech Republic

● seasonal workers

● health, social services and food processing employees

● employees in scientific, key and highly qualified professions fulfilling conditions of the Highly Qualified Worker Program and Key and Research Staff Program

● international transport workers

● critical infrastructure workers 

● diplomats and officials of international organizations

● in exceptional emergency situations as defined in point II.2i of the Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic

Citizens of Bangladesh and third-country nationals with residence permit in Bangladesh can lodge their applications at the Embassy of France in Dhaka

Citizens of Sri Lanka and third-country nationals with residence permit in Sri Lanka can lodge their applications at the Embassy of France in Colombo

It is still prohibited to accept applications for the purpose of tourism, business or visiting family or friends.

Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic also allows all applicants who underwent complete vaccination course against COVID-19  to apply for visa without any limitations. In that case applicant must be holder of recognized national certificate of COVID-19 vaccination.

Vaccinated person with a national full vaccination certificate means a person who presents a valid national COVID-19 vaccination certificate on completed vaccination course against COVID-19 under the condition that at least 14 days have passed since the completion of the vaccination course and the person was vaccinated by:
a) a medical product containing the vaccine against COVID-19 approved in accordance with the Regulation (EC) No. 726/2004, or
b) a medical product, which production is in compliance with the patent of a medical product referred to in point (a), under the condition that this medical product is approved by World Health Organization for emergency use

In the territorial jurisdiction of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi (i.e. India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives) are currently recognized vaccination certificates issued by India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Applicants from India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal as well as third-country nationals residing in these countries, who are holders of recognized vaccination certificate and were vaccinated by approved vaccine, are therefore eligible to apply for visas/permits without any limitations. Applicants are obliged to present a vaccination certificate and sign declaration (DOCX, 44 KB).

Applicants from India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal who do not meet the criteria on vaccination as well as all citizens of Bangladesh, Maldives and Nepal and third-country nationals residing in these countries, are eligible to apply only for above listed visa purposes.
