Reliable Partner Program

The Reliable Partner Program introduces a new procedure for obtaining Schengen visas for applicants who frequently travel to the Czech Republic for the purpose of business or official visits and whose short-term stay is in the foreign policy, economic or other interest of the Czech Republic.

The Reliable Partner Program is open to Indian private and public companies and organizations as well as representatives of Indian authorities travelling to the Czech Republic for further specified purposes.

How to enroll?

The request for a Schengen visa appointment has to be submitted by a Czech partner of the visa applicant, not the applicant himself, via email: partners_delhi@mzv.cz.

In case the visa appointment request is submitted by the Indian partner company, the Czech Embassy in New Delhi reserves the right to disregard such request.

Appointment slots for submitting the visa application are usually allocated within one week after the approval of the appointment request by the Czech Embassy in New Delhi. It is the Czech representation alone that determines whether a company or organization is qualified.

To guarantee smooth processing of visa applications, Czech Embassy in New Delhi asks the Czech partner subject to contact the Embassy at least 15 days before the applicant's planned trip to the Czech Republic.

When the appointment for submitting the visa application is assigned by the Embassy, the application has to be launched in one of the VFS Global visa centers according to the applicant's choice. The requirements for Schengen visa documentation remain unchanged.

Please note, that in case you are not included in the Reliable Partner Program you are still eligible for applying for and obtaining a Schengen visa following standard visa application procedures.

Who can be enrolled?

Trusted Partners who qualify for this program are:

  1. Employees/representatives of Indian subjects representing Czech companies and joint ventures of Czech and Indian companies, for instance

  2. Well-established Indian subsidiaries of Czech companies

  3. Well-established Indian companies with a subsidiary in the Czech Republic

  4. An Indian company in joint venture with a Czech company, whose employees frequently visit the Czech Republic

The Czech business partner is required to contact the Czech Embassy via partners_delhi@mzv.cz and confirm its relationship with the Indian company and at the same time to share an invitation containing the name of the applicant, his contact details (email), location of the preferred VFS Global visa center, purpose and date of the planned trip.

The relationship with the Indian company needs to be introduced with the first application only. When the relationship between the Czech and Indian business entity is acknowledged, the Czech business partner will only have to send invitation letters with a request to assign a visa appointment date in the future.

  1. Representatives of Indian authorities (not private companies) travelling to the Czech Republic for audit or inspection purposes

Czech company expecting an inspection trip will send a formal invitation and a request for a visa appointment date to partners_delhi@mzv.cz. The email has to contain the applicant's name, contact details (email), location of the preferred VFS Global visa center, purpose of the planned trip and its date.

  1. Representatives of the Indian government, ministries and other state bodies as well as research, scientific, technical or academic institutes who travel to the Czech Republic for the purpose of a meeting and establishing contacts with Czech partner organizations or institutes both in the private, public or state sector. The purpose of the trip has to be relevant for the development of business, economic or scientific relations between the Czech Republic and India

The request for a Schengen visa appointment is submitted by the Czech partner via an invitation sent to partners_delhi@mzv.cz and commerce_delhi@mzv.cz. The invitation has to contain the applicant's name, contact information (email), location of the preferred VFS Global visa center, purpose of the planned trip and its date. The visa appointment date will be assigned based on approval of the Political and Economic Section of the Czech Embassy.

  1. Trade, economic or specialized business missions or delegations organized or supported by the Czech Embassy in New Delhi

In this case the visa appointment date is assigned on the request of the Political and Economic Section of the Czech Embassy. Requests for appointment sent by applicants themselves will not be taken into consideration.
