Infoline of the Consular Section

The infoline is available every working day (excluding holidays) from 2 p.m. till 4 p.m. of the local time.

The infoline is dedicated for answering general questions regarding the visa process.

Information regarding the current visa status of particular applications and such questions will not be answered. Any phone calls received on this number regarding bookings of appointments for submitting of visa and permit applications will not be considered by the consular section.

Czech, Indian, Bangladeshi, Bhutanese, Maldivian, Nepalese and Srilanka citizens may approach the consular section in the connection with legalization and superlegalization matters or issuance of permit for temporary non - commercial importation - transit of firearms or ammuniation /by a prior appointment - every Friday (excluding holidays) from 9.00 – 11.00 a.m. of the local time.

This e-mail address is dedicated for the communication with the consular section of the embassy regarding short term Schengen applications only.

Its purpose is not to provide information regarding the current status of particular visa applications and such e-mails will not be answered.

This e-mail address is dedicated for arranging appointments for the submission of short-term visa applications by applicants residing in Bangladesh and Nepal.

This e-mail address is dedicated for the communication with the consular section of the embassy regarding long-term visa applications, long-term/permanent residence permits and employee/blue cards only.

Its purpose is not to provide information regarding the current status of particular visa and residence permit applications and such e-mails will not be answered.

It is to be noted that the consular section is constantly contacted by big numbers of applicants. Should you not be able to reach the consular section via phone, kindly write an e-mail.

This phone line is available anytime in emergency cases, such as lost passports, accident, injury, etc.

Please note that this an emergency line for  helping Czech citizens in danger. No request of  information regarding visa and residence permit will be tolerated. 

 

Working Hours

Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

Opening Hours to the Public:

Monday – Thursday (9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

Friday (9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

 

The applicants, after being provided with the appointment date by the consular section, may personally submit their long-term/permanent residence permit and employee/blue cards may personally submit their applications at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi from Monday  till Thursday (excluding holidays) from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. of the local time (late arrivals will not be accepted):

The applicants may submit additional documents regarding their already accepted long-term visa applications, long-term/permanent residence permit applications, employee/blue cards from Monday  till Thursday (excluding holidays) from 12:00 - 12:30 a.m. of the local time (late arrivals will not be accepted).

The applicants may pick up their travel documents and documents regarding Schengen and long-term visa applications, long-term/permanent residence permit  and employee/blue cards applications from Moday till Friday (excluding holidays) from 3:30 till 4:00 p.m. of the local time (late arrivals will not be accepted).

Holidays 

The Visa & Consular section is closed during the embassy holidays.

The opening hours of the consular section may also be limited due to Indian state holidays. It is recommended to check the opening hours well in advance on our contact phone numbers or via our e-mail address.
