As a successful entrepreneur, he acts as the Chairman of the Valingro Group covering 12 companies with verticals in Semiconductor Packaging, IT technologies and agriculture to test engineering. The Valingro Group has its offices in Chennai, Singapore, California and Kuwait. At the same time, Ar Rm Arun is the Senior Vice President of SICCI (Southern India Chamber of Commerce & Industry).

As far as his educational background is concerned, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Trichy, India and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, USA. His specialization was in the field of VLSI Design. Having initially been with Polaroid Corp, Cambridge, Massachusetts, he later worked for Intel Corp, Santa Clara, California.

As the new honorary consul of the Czech Republic, his main goals are the support of bilateral economic relations as well as the strengthening of cultural exchange of both countries.
