Mrs. Rashmi Jolly - Honorary Consul General of the Czech Republic in Mumbai (India)

Rashmi Jolly is a Honorary Consul General of the Czech Republic in Mumbai with the consular jurisdiction over the states of Maharasthra and Goa in the west coast of India. At the same time, she acts as a Vice Chairperson and an Executive Director of Jollyboard company where she oversees the public relations and export activities. The company manufactures and exports building and construction materials to countries all over the world. 

The Company has manufacturing units in the cities of Aurangabad and Sangli. The property of the company in Mumbai has been transformed into an Information Technology Park which now houses several international and domestic companies as well as an Art Gallery run by Mrs. Jolly.

Rashmi Jolly contributes to the development of Czech-Indian bilateral relations especially in the area of ​​cultural diplomacy. In 2018 she organized the concert of the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra of Zlín in Mumbai in the cooperation with the embassy in Dehli.

Among other activities, in November last year, a joint celebration of 100 years of the formation of old Czechoslovakia brought a fashion show from Prague of a leading Czech designer Jana Berg Studio Prague.

She has been working in close co-operation with Czech Trade in Mumbai as far ar as economical diplomacy is concerned.

She also provides Czech citizens in need with consular support as there are growing numbers of Czech tourists coming to Goa.
