Important notice to visa applicants and relocation of the Czech Embassy

The Czech Embassy in Nicosia will be reorganized with effect from 1 August 2013. As a result of the reorganization, the Embassy will no longer issue visas and residence permits. These functions will be transferred to the Czech Embassy in Athens.
The Czech Embassy in Nicosia will accept long-term visa and residence permit applications until Friday, 12 April 2013. Starting 15 April 2013 you can apply for long-term visa and residence permit at the Czech Embassy in Athens.
For Schengen visas, applications will be accepted at the Czech Embassy in Nicosia until Friday, 17 May 2013. The Czech Embassy will take over Schengen visa agenda from May 20, 2013.
The Embassy will be temporarily closed for relocation during July 2013. The 24-hour consular assistance desk will remain operational. The Embassy’s new address and opening date will be announced well in advance.
