Anna Osmolovskaya submitted a photo to the competition. Together with the award, the ambassador presented her also art supplies as a small gift.

ICEFA Lidice is a one round competition for children 4 to 16 years for all types of schools and organisations working with children. The expert panel of judges consisting of art teachers and visual artists selects circa 1,400 works for exhibition. The works are awarded Honourable Mentions and the best of them obtain “Rose of Lidice” medals. Every year the “Theme of the Year” is announced following the recommendation of the UNESCO. This year the topic Robot and artificial intelligence.

Accepted works are made by various techniques going under categories in the catalogue: painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, film/animation, ceramics, art objects (metal, ceramics, wood, glass, textile, paper).

In 2021, more than 11,200 artworks by children from 72 countries entered the competition. The results of the competition are published on the exhibition's website. The exhibition of all awarded works at the Lidice Gallery is open from July 1, 2021 until January 31, 2022.

The International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice (ICEFA) was established in 1967 to commemorate the child victims from the Czech village of Lidice murdered by German Nazis in 1942, as well as all other children who have died in wars. This exhibition became an international event and is well known among children and teachers not only in the Czech Republic but nearly all over the world.
