Department of Czech for Foreigners of the Faculty of Arts was established in 1993 on the basis of the 25 years of experience that Masaryk University´s Faculty of Arts had gathered from its Summer School of Slavonic Studies. Due to great interest in Czech studies, the Department came up with several new courses in addition to the month-long course. These courses are: Courses for Foreigners which last 50 academic hours, Summer School of Slavonic Studies is 4- week intensive Czech language course, Bachelor´s Degree Studies of Czech for Foreigners, Didactic and Practical Course and Intensive 2-weeks Course of Czech for Foreigners.
