Leo Eitinger and other Czechoslovak refugees in Norway - their background and fate

On Sunday 6th September 2015 from 14.00 hrs., Doc. Miluše Juříčková of Masaryk University in Brno will give a lecture in the Norwegian language on Leo Eitinger at the Centre for Studies of the Holocaust and Religious Minorities in Oslo.

Famous Norwegian psychiatrist Leo Eitinger came to Norway twice: first as a refugee from Prague in the fall of 1939, then in 1945 as one of the few who survived the Holocaust.
Who were the Czechoslovak refugees who had come with him? Who were the Norwegian citizens who helped refugees to find a new and safe home in Norway? These and other questions will be answered during the lecture.

The lecture will be held in cooperation with the Czech Embassy in Oslo.
