The aim of the meeting was to strengthen the bilateral relations and develop mutual cooperation in the field of science and research. During his visit to the Czech Republic Minister Moridi also met Pavel Bělobrádek, Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Research and Innovation. The Memorandum of joint cooperation between Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR) and Ministry of Research, Innovation and Science of Ontario was signed.　

Minister Moridi also visited the Institute of Nuclear Research in Řež, Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI Beamlines),  Biotechnology and Biomedical Center (BIOCEV) of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC) and Czech Technical University in Prague.　

During his overseas trip Minister Moridi visited Germany, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.
