Information for foreign nationals – obligation to take an adaptation and integration course

We would like to inform of an obligation for foreign nationals, who were issued a long-term residence permit or a permanent resident permit as of 1 January 2021 to take an adaptation and integration course.
The obligation does not apply to certain types of long-term residence permits (e.g. with the purpose of study, investment, Employee and Blue Card within government programs etc.) and to applicants younger than 15 years of age or older than 61 years of age, EU nationals and their family members.
Foreign nationals are required to take the course within one year of the date of collecting their residence permits. For more information please visit the web pages of the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic.
