On May 28, 2019, CdA a.i. of the Embassy V. Tesař gave a lecture at the Royal Agricultural University of Phnom Penh. As part of his presentation to the University's management and its students, he introduced the Czech Republic, the history and present of its relations with Cambodia and the priorities of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Phnom Penh. In the next part, he focused on presenting the European Union and the significance of its partnership with Cambodia.

At the beginning of the subsequent discussion, the University Vice-Rector Ok Savin expressed recognition and pleasure in the possibility of a concrete cooperation with the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague and the Mendel University in Brno. Students' discussions and questions mainly concerned the possibility of studying in the Czech Republic, either through student internships or by obtaining a scholarship granted to Cambodia annually by the Government of the Czech Republic.
